Getting Started in Tennis:
- We recommend getting 4 or 5 tennis lessons before you have a competitive match with someone. You should get a good coach for beginners at $40-$60 an hour. Many coaches will also be willing to take on groups of 4 players, so convince a few friends and you can have a group discount.
- If you don’t want to get a lesson - simply watch a few tennis matches on TV. You’ll quickly get a basic understanding of the rules. After this get on a court and simply enjoy yourself!
- Learn the basics but don’t worry about the intricacies of the game in the beginning.
