Where You’ll be on Day 31:

his is where we believe you’ll be at the end of the course:

  • You will be in complete control of your weight.
  • You’ll know when & how your weight goes up and how to stop this from happening again
  • You’ll be losing weight without turning your life upside down!
  • Nothing will be off menu (as long as it’s managed right)
  • You would never have to eat someone else’s predefined list of foods to lose weight (aka diets)
  • That occasional overeating – either 1 day or a longer period of time - doesn’t make or break your healthy weight goals
  • You will get to your target weight guaranteed (but) in due time
  • You’ll have a very good idea of what this time frame will be
  • You’ll know that – with the right knowledge - getting to your target weight can be a simple process & a part of your daily life

What Exactly Do We Mean by Simple & a Part of Your Daily Life?

We’ll explain this with an example:
Let’s say it’s 6 in the evening, you’re returning from work and you get hungry. Which of the following is the best healthy weight decision:

a) Stay hungry till you get home

b) Stop at a Fast Food and have something there

c) Eat Broccoli and Carrots

d) Stop at a convenience store and grab a Snickers

Our advice would be to get a Snickers bar (and how many diets/nutritionists etc. will give you that answer!)

Here’s why:

a) Stay hungry till we get home and we’ll probably eat twice as much as we were planning to. The longer we stay hungry – the more we eat.

b) Stop at a Fast Food and we’re likely to eat more (although we have an entire day dedicated to helping you eat less there as well).

c) Broccoli and Carrots?? Who carries around Broccoli and Carrots!? Not a practical answer (although not very different from what many “experts” recommend)

d) Snickers – 1 snicker will be about 250 calories (which is not a lot). You can easily get one from a 7-11 nearby. And it keeps you full for an hour or so. This way, when you get home, you won’t be famished and you’re likely to eat a lot less.

And that, in essence, is what the Zlimmer! course is all about.

We treat weight management as something we do everyday – not something that’s intrusive, takes over your life and makes you go nutrition crazy!

If it’s going to work, it needs to work with your life not against it!

Are carrots & broccoli a better nutritional option? Absolutely. Are we realistically going to start carrying carrots and broccolis around? Absolutely not!

(and while we’re on the subject, perfect nutrition does not necessarily equal healthy weight – that’s a weight loss myth. More on this in a minute).

What You’re Not Going to Achieve With this Course:

  • You’re not going to lose 10 pounds in 10 days with this course.  We’ve been there, tried it – many years ago now – but we can say this with some confidence that it just doesn’t work that way. It simply does not.
  • You’re not going to have a perfectly balanced nutrition. We’re not going to tell you to eat 5 servings of meats followed by 7 serving of vegetables or whatever perfect nutrition is supposed to be about.

As you’ll see in coming days, a “balanced diet” has almost nothing to do with getting to your preferred weight. Frankly anybody who tells us to make this giant 24 hour leap from a Big Mac & Large Fries to Carrots & Broccoli is asking for too much.

So we’re not about these giant leaps to perfect nutrition either.

  • We’re not going to tell you what to eat, when to eat it and what not eat. We do give many recommendations but a lot more important than those specific recommendations are the reasons why we suggest them.

See we want you to be in charge of your healthy weight with more or less what you eat right now – we just show you how to manage it better so that it doesn’t hinder your journey towards your healthy weight.

How Long Will The Course Take?

Let’s start with the detailed numbers (minutes:seconds & hours:minutes:seconds for Day 4):

Course Timetable

So in Summary:

  • 11 Minutes, on average, for the lesson audios
  • 30 Minutes, on average, for the assignments
  • 1 three hour test (at the end of Day 4)

Let’s take this a little further to help explain what the result of the course will be. We’ve taken the numbers from above and put it in a graph. (minus the test on Day 4, it was making an odd spike in the graph but that’ll be there too!)

We’ve also added the time required after the course finishes (in other words Day 31 onwards):

So it’s starts off with a lot work but from about Day 5 onwards, we’re gradually decreasing the time required, till at the end of course you can easily manage your weight with a daily effort of about 10 minutes with, again, not ignoring your *actual* life.

Do I have to finish in 30 days?

Not at all but finishing it in exactly 30 days is optimal. You can take longer than 30 days if you want to, however, we wouldn’t recommend finishing it in less time than that.

(You do have unlimited access to the course, so you can take a year if necessary but from a weight management perspective 30 days to about 6 weeks is ideal).

How quickly will I get to my target weight?

We’ll go as far as giving you an exact date on Day 17. Maybe it’ll take you a little longer to get to your target weight, maybe a little less time but this will be as close to accurate in predicting your healthy weight date as anyone can get.

Because by that time we would have a realistic estimate of how quickly you can move towards your healthy weight, without turning your life upside down, without making major, life altering changes.

But as a general guideline:

  • Passively you’re looking at losing 25 pounds in the next year or about 6 pounds in the next 3 months
  • Or if you can take a more disciplined approach with relative easy – and that’s very much possible as well – then we’re looking at losing a 100 pounds over the next 1 year or 25 pounds in the next 3 months.
